In reviews often is stated that it has some resemblance with the guitarpieces of Anthony Phillips, a founding member of Genesis. I am very proud that I had the opportunity to play it for him in his homestudio, on hís guitar. And he liked it! I hope he was not just being polite, haha.

is a piece for the classical guitar that can be found on my album SHADES. It's a song I perform regularly on memorial services. The main theme is in D major (as life begins in an optimistic mood...), the middle parts are in D minor (let's say the struggles in life) and the end is again in D major.

is a piece for the classical guitar that can be found on my album ROFLORÉ. The album is an atmospheric musical journey inspired by the quest of Rofloré, a minstrel-like figure from a sciencefiction story, written by my good friend Peter van der Laan. IMPRESSION is one of the more fragile pieces.
